Flying Squirrel

I had some good close-ups of a friendly southern flying squirrel raiding my bird feeder, so I decided to slap on a sound track and try to make it worth watching. Not sure if I succeeded, but had fun trying. Sure is a cute little bugger, though.

thats a sugar glider!!!!! i had one as a pet, they're native to australia and don't live out in the wild in the US

@gladw2c That's a funny coincidence. I saw my first flying squire up in the park also. I believe we were on Dickson lake. I hung the pack's up and with in a few minutes, there was a little guy helping him self to our food!

Came across a dying one in the Eldred King Woodland (section York Regional Forest in Ontario) yesterday while out walking the dogs. Spotted it dead today a few feet away. I saw one once before in 1980 late at night in Algonquin Park. They look very similar to red squirrels and live in the same habitat.
