Taking Trazodone

Taking 200 mg of Trazodone. I think other medicines I'm on are making my thoughts clouded.

Did trazodone work well for sleep when you were taking it?

@ontariobuds I stopped taking all meds. I couldn't handle 200 mg's at this point but yes. However you can expect serious sedation to come on quickly...20 minutes or so. With it if it kicks in it could make you want to lie down or else you could feel sick otherwise. Crazy pill but effective by all means.

I don't take drugs anymore to sleep. My body took a toll. I just stay up until i need to sleep now.

i was just prescribed this. i took 2 (100mg) the first night and within a half hour i could'nt even focus on anything. i had to go lay down and pass out. i slept for 15 hours with some crazy vivid dreams. i took only 1 the next night with the same results. either way its better than the insomnia i was having. staying awake for 3-4 days for no reason was stressing me out. only thing that sucks is i feel weak and zoned out when i wake up, and get dizzy spells when using alot of energy.

I think it's a matter of the person. I personally love Trezedone - it works for me. :)

@Bdm5smiles i think i took some seroquel on my second trip to the mental hospital after my ER visit.  doesn't that stuff give you a buzz? if i remember right, i had a pretty euphoric dream on it.

@camboy1132 i was prescribed 100mg for every night and it made me feel groggy and kind of had an annoying body sensation that i have a hard time describing. it isn't terrible, just annoying for me.

then again, i used to take resperidone with it so that might've caused the effects.

10 mgs shouldn't have any noticeable effects i'd imagine.

@nocturnal69mix6969 yes, my dad usually takes a thing or two of benadyl every night. my grandfather, who just passed, was a doctor and recommended the idea to him. he also said it's a mild anti-depressant. i don't know if i can believe that, but i do know some people abuse it to get high.

note: don't try to get high on it, you will regret it.

@PsychoticPriest i did 100mg and i didn't care for the way it made me feel. i kept coming off and on the meds, but i haven't seen any results from it.

recreational value? its a special classed SSRI, fool wtf magical effects do you think will come of that?

Trazodone can make you heavy headed and drowsy as shit depending upon how much you take, so yes cloudy thoughts is likely

Wtf is "your benzos causing it?"

The only benzo I know of is Benzodiazepine, which is a drug used for anti-anxiety. Not a fucking brain chemical.
