It's been about 7 months now since I've started playing guitar. In this video I included a few common techniques like power chords, barre chords, rhythm guitar, lead, and scales that every guitar play should practice and get to know.

Nothing impressive about my skill level, it's very obvious. The point of my videos is not for me to show off. I am only posting them to document my progress as a guitar player so beginner guitarist can be inspired to not give up, that practice will make you better. And for more advance guitar player to give advice on improving.

Constructive criticism is always welcomed! Thanks for watching my videos (:

  • Nice dude :) Keep it up, love these kind of videos, but just one question, how long do you normally practice a day? Alot right? :p

  • @BigGHpondus thanks. I usually practice 2 or more hours a day.

  • Sweet progress! You have tons of potential so just keep it up!

  • @paiz2chan thanks (:

  • I think it's cool that somebody your age still appreciates classic rock. So do you prefer the Strat shape or Les Paul? And you're lucky you get about three hours per day to practice. I probably get about one hour total per week.

  • @Erndawggy Thank you. I love playing classic rock, it makes me feel like I will be able to be as good as them. I prefer the Strat shape over the Les Paul. It has a the thinner neck which makes it easier to play faster and the frets aren't as big like the Les Paul so it makes playing certain things easier for me because I don't have long fingers. But the Les Paul has a better overall sound in my opinion.

  • @KoRnn69 do u have a facebook

  • @MASTERMARK360 Oh ok cool. Well that means you are soloing lol.

  • @KoRnn69 yea last night i started to learn it...its preaty easy if u watch youtube... i know couple scales most of the time i just play without thinking what im playing

  • @MASTERMARK360 thanks. I try to play at least 3 or more hours a day. And I do know scales, I know the minor pentatonic in 5 positions but in all different keys. I believe after I play the solo to whole lotta love I start by soloing to a backing track which uses minor pentatonic in the key of Bm. If you want to learn One then just keep practicing it, especially the parts that are difficult to you.
