If you l ike this kind of noir you may like "The Secret Adventures of the Projectionist"

I used this film a lot for my structure of Battery Row. The monologue, the witty banter. worked great in Battery Row.

@homterdanher Nothing can replace watching the films..."Double Indemnity" of course, "Laura" with Dana Andrews and a radiant Gene Tierney, the greatly artistic "The Third Man" with Orsen Wells, and a minor classic not often mentioned, "Angel Face" with Robert Mitchum. The men are always tough, competitive, smart ass talk, competitive, but driven by primal urges which lead to their undoing. They are drawn to the vamp, the wicked women, and pay the price. Most film noir are morality plays.

@homerdanher Or you could do your own homework, there's dozens of books out there on the subject!
