The cop on the hood of the car would have died if he didn't kill/incapacitate the driver. 100% justified still a tough situation.

Too bad there's still so many more out there planning their next easy score while you and I go to bed early because we have to work in the morning. I could never be a cop... I'm not brave enough... but I thank god there are people out there who are!!

Cops intentionally put themselves in harms way so they can justify using deadly force. How many videos have you seen of police jumping in front of fleeing cars then shooting the driver in "self defense?"

@joneseastman Mr. Jones, no disrespect sir, but your perception of this incident is distorted. This drug-dealing, kidnapping, car stealing, attempted murderer dictated the necessity to cap him. The obedient officer obliged. Somebody was going to die that night ~ personally, I'm glad it was the BAD guy instead of any of the GOOD guys.

@SookIL They laid spike strips, but CHARLES WAYNE BENNETT swerved to avoid them and nearly killed police instead. This was 28Aug07 in Blue Ash, Ohio. Three cops fired into the car trying unsuccessfully to disable it. BENNETT tried to run over 4 cops that night, and rammed two cruisers. One car "Pitted" him and another broadsided him (video), but he drove away. 2 cars pinned him and cops approached on foot. He hit one who landed on his hood. 2 cops hospitalized, shootings JUSTIFIED by OSP.
