This is a video I should have done a long time ago. it's s direct slam against Gamestop (and other corporate monsters) but hell, I'm going to have to disregard what my mom taught me on this one
(She said "if you have nothing good to say about someone, then don't say anything at all.) But I'm here for the gamers and I'm speaking my mind! Sorry mom! I hope you understand! LOL

  • say dude, i am still a huge fan of your store. im in japan now and for a long time it seems. if you need anything from out here, let me know....ill send it your way

  • @teleshaka

The question is: What DON'T I want from Japan?

The answer is "Theres nothing I don't want from Japan!" LOL

  • Its all about supply and demand, if the game isn't in high demand then you are not going to get much money for it when it comes to GameStop or any big corporation.

  • @bigtinacnet2010

I understand supply and demand. As a business owner, it's something you need a firm grasp on.

The point is that they also give much less for games in high demand. New releases (like MW3, Gears 3, AC Revalations, ETC) that they will re sell for $54.99

  • All people do is hate on stores like gamestop for having such poor trade in values on old games, no matter how rare and awesome they may have been......but you have to look from what the company is seeing......if nobody is going to walk into a gamestop with the mindset of buying your ancient game from ye olden times, more than likely it will sit on the shelf and grow dust until its pennied out. Don't shit on gamestop until you run a business like that and can understand supply and demand.

  • @Chronocloud65

I do run a business like that. Been doing it for 12 years now and have succeeded and grown while still giving better prices for games. If I can do it, then there's no question at all that gamestop could do it. If they cared about their clientele more than they care about the $.

    Period.

  • @L1Games hahaha.... i hear that. i found some great stores where they have it all, dude. hit me up if you need a hook up from out here

  • does l1 games sell retro games

  • Gamestop sucks. Unfortunately, they are like the only place that has games anymore besides Wal-Mart.

  • at EBgames (the Canadian gamestop) i go in ask how much i would get for the boxed gba game its boxed with manual and the game its mint the only way it could be in better condition was if it was sealed and do yo know what they offer a 20 CENT this is a GBA game it would easily be worth a few bucks then i see the same game loose on there shelves for $4.25

  • GameStop gave me 0.13 for madden 7 and when it came out $60. 0.13CENTZ!?!

  • Unfortunately, apart from trade centers, pawn shops, and shopping centers, I have no dedicated game stores other than Gamestop. I used to have one around here, but it closed down.

  • @shanearcher103 what do you expect they have to make a profit.

  • I wish your gamestore was nearbye where I live. The only gamestores around here are the big corporate ones, such as gamestop, that rip everyone off.
