@NedPeppers Sad thing is that this pursuit with the police will probably help his so called "rap career". Pull the fuck over people, you're not just risking your life but everyone else on the road including the police "which I know you could give shit about". Bottom line you WILL be caught and have tons of extra charges and possibly severely injure or kill someone. So be a fucking man, pull over, and deal with it.

pretty much the same as in collier. in the case of this pursuit, we were in an incorporated city of St. Pete, but being that the city is in the county of course, the SO can go wherever but chose to stay out. We conducting a DUI saturation patrol which allowed us to go wherever in the county.

agreed. St. Pete PD cannot engage in a pursuit unless it is a violent felony. They have access to our channels and can scan them to keep updated and can be linked to our channels if the situation calls for it. FHP tends to stick to the main highways unlike many other state agencies where they roam around wherever. As for central dispatch, that is slowly happening as the Sheriff's office continues to eat up and take in smalled municipalities, their dispatch is now being put out by the S.O.
