How Dare you

Edit: This is NOT me riding ._. This is my dad, I don't control how he rides, I'm the camera person just laughing in the background. I'm aware he is riding wrong but there honestly is nothing I can do about it.

This is my dad riding the new grade mare, Moonshine.
She's only 3 years old and has NEVER been under saddle. She was horribley abused and starved and has now been rehomed into her new adoptive family since we were only fostering her long enough to break her to give her a better chance at adoption. I took over her breaking shortly after this.

WOAH, Your way too big for this little pony! He shot off because you were taking too long to get on him and where twisting his back, This is an easy way to damage a horses back. You need to use your reins when getting on your horse so you can easily stop him/her if it tries to run away, Maybe try someone lighter and more experienced for this situation..?

Havent you guys noticed this was uploaded back in 2009?! i'm sure the horse is alot better trained by now and probably is being ridden. Also, not every 3yr old horse is going to react the same. Even though the dad was pretty big, the horse did what most 3 year olds do when first being mounted..

I think your dad was fine, i think his plan was to lay across her back to get her used to his weight before sitting up the only thing is your dad is too big and heavy for the horse but i don't think all the crap on here is helping he seems to know what he is doing but he definately needs a bigger more substantially built horse
