Birth and Sacrifice--
Sweet Little Jesus Boy- The innocent lamb is to become the sacrificial lamb.
Many people do not understand the connection between Christ's birth and His mission. The point of Christ coming in the first place was to be our Savior. The same Jesus that was wrapped in swaddling cloths and laid in a manger (Luke 2:7) was also wrapped in burial cloths (Luke 23:55) and placed in a tomb. As difficult as it is for many to consider, the reality is Jesus came to suffer. To be a sacrifice for us. If we don't understand that, there is no point in celebrating Christmas.

"Sweet Little Jesus Boy, they made You be born in a manger. Sweet Little holy Child, didn't know who You was.
Didn't know you came to save us, to take our sins away. Our eyes was blind, we couldn't see, we didn't know who you was."
