It's originally written for Hades.. Who is supposed to be the narrator, who built a wall around the underworld to keep out starving masses. It may have another meaning, about the US / Mexico, but yyyeahh
@doggoesbark The wall she's describing is both real and metaphorical. On the real side, think of the Berlin wall, the separation wall in Palestine, the "border fence" in the U.S. on the southern border with Mexico...Anywhere where fallible and vulnerable humans think technology can protect them from what they fear...Anywhere elites use fear of "the other" to control populations and keep them divided and distracted...This is a work of true genius.
@sandyfeet Well, i have heard of this wall - just not the first one to pop into my head, as i am a canadian and i don't think we'd ever build a wall between us and america
Hey, so i tried to search what wall this was, and the sandbox inn and i couldn't find a match soo, what wall are you talking about i'd really like to know!
Anais played this at the SandBox Inn - 30 miles from The Wall - in 2009 and it brought the house down. I so regretted not recording this song. Thanks much for posting.

This woman needs to fuck off
She's is too good for me to handle
I don't think I've felt my insides stir as much as they are right now as I consecutively listen to her songs.

@doggoesbark - I live on South Padre Island - 30 miles from the Mexico border where the US is busily building a wall. Too keep us free.
An ill-conceived idea that has not yet been shot down but definitely needs to be.
