@OoYoungie The matter of that fact is that I dont like his new stuff because he changed to suit the main population. Im not "jelly" that he has gone mainstream and I couldn't care less how popular he is. But he has changed so much, and that is why I'm annoyed.
Im not the only who feels this way aswell. Just read some comments on his older songs.

@blackpowerfreak The verses are great...but man...wtf is up with that chorus/hook... For me its on the verge of mainstream shit. I guess my hopes were too high and unrealistic. Listen to "Voices in my head" . This is the k'naan i grew to love.

Fuck i had such high hopes for k'naan's new EP..but man this is some fucking mainstream akon type shit...
I mean, I'm happy for him and all but a small part of me wishes Wavin' flag didnt get so popular. Then he might have written something respectable like his previous records..i guess he just wants to please your average everyday single chart listener..
