Money Matters

Rural Money Matters focuses on the role of the Rural Financial Inclusion Champions and their work within rural communities. The film illustrates the difficulties experienced in identifying financial exclusion in rural areas because of its sparser population where patches of deprivation are often hidden in more affluent areas.

Providers of services such as money advice organisations, credit unions, social landlords and others demonstrate the specific issues they face in delivering services and identifying need in rural areas and offer solutions to overcoming these difficulties.

This short 10 min film gives a comprehensive insight into rurality and financial exclusion. It is a useful tool to use with presentations and workshops focusing on issues of rural financial exclusion.
