"We Bathe The World" has long been a popular slogan to advertise world-renowned Bath House Row, located in the downtown historical district of Hot Springs National Park. For years, a local businessman named Stueart Pennington had the idea of putting bath tubs on wheels and racing them down Central Avenue, in the heart of the bathing district. After Stueart's recent death, city leaders decided to make his vision a reality and the 1st Annual Stueart Pennington Running of the Tubs was held in downtown Hot Springs. It was a huge success, with thousands of people turning out to cheer for their favorite tubs and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
