This is a demonstration of the mountable flamethrower i've made using hammer editor.

Don't mind the weird slapping noises when in first person mode. It's a bug that is generated by a soundpack i've installed. It made the bullet swoosh sounds turn into this weird slapping noise.

If you'd like to learn how to do this or anything similar, just let me know in the comments. If there are enough requests, i'll make a tutorial.

  • @DOCTOROCTAGONAPUSS At the moment, it sets fire to them, and does minimal damage (1hp/sec). I might change it so it only sets fire to normal/special infected but the tank doesn't catch on fire just takes damage.

  • @Coacoa1122 Valve can't count to 3.. Haven't you learnt by now?

  • in l4d3 they should make a portable flamethrower but it does not show up much in a campaign like a chainsaw or grenade launcher and it should run on fuel like the chainsaw

  • cool perfect weapon and we all ask "Why didnt valve think of this?"also isnt it possible to make this into a hand held wepon
