This video shows my first reaction to the new Ellis Faas range. Ellis is a well respected make-up artist from Amsterdam who's work I have always admired. I was excited to see what innovation she had come up with. Already on sale across Europe, Australia and NZ, it launches into Berdof Goodmans in NY this month and
Liberty London in February. For more info and prices go to www.ellisfaas.com

  • Lisa, do you have the actual color #'s that ellis faas sent to you? Since it's only listed by number and not color name, that would be helpful. thanks!

  • @valhoff3 Shades only go by number in this range .... no names X

  • Soooo gorgeous! The packaging AND the product are simply stunning! Def gonna check it out as this is the second time Ive seen/heard positive feedback. So cool. Looks like what the 1950s would expect makeup to look like in "" ...the year 2000.....""

  • @missmary333 Ha yes you are right, i could imagine it in the 60's film Barbarella too! x

  • Great review - I was lucky enough to attend the pre-launch of the range at Liberty, and I was really impressed with it. Apparently all the colours in the range exist in the human body, and so they suit everyone - the creamy eyes is amazing in terms of staying power too - I can't wait til it launches properly in the uk!

  • @mizzworthy Me too! Thanks for your comment x

  • Great review!

A couple of comments on the range from my own experience.

The foundation is lovely - very natural looking. I do find that it's a bit harder to clean out of my foundation brush though (shampoo doesn't seem to lift it easily)...

One of my favourite eye shadows is the E301. It's a beautiful, light, shimmery colour. It does set really quickly though. I've also found that the applicator tends to clog, and the brush bristles also bend out of shape over time.

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom Right. I was asking if you told the numbers you used. I don't recall hearing you say what you used.

  • caught my fancy. lol! love it :)

  • Great review. You are too cute for words. Loved how excited you looked when you talked about using your hands with the products. I know exactly what you mean. It is great when make up is really fun to work with. It's like your inner child coming out to play! Adorable.

  • Major problems with the packaging! I have the foundation, conceal or, blusher and lipstick/stain. After two applications my blusher stopped coming through the tube...same for foundation. Extremely frustrating as texture and co ours are lovely. Would however not buy again!

  • hi Lisa! great video!

  • This isn't sold at Bergdorfs, not sure if it once was... This can be found at Space NK throughout NYC (including their locations within Bloomingdales), as well as the new Sephora down in the Meatpacking district and Woodley &Bunny in Williamsberg Brooklyn... I am DYING to try some of her products. The eye products actually come in 3 textrures, Milky and Creamy as shown here, but also in the Lights formula which is a metalic almost wet looking shine. I think this concept is brilliant and artful.

  • its gorgeous
