Humber College presented award-winning Canadian comedian Russell Peters with an Honourary Degree. The Honourary Degree was awarded by Humber's School of Creative & Performing Arts (SCAPA) and presented at the school's convocation ceremony at Mississauga's Living Arts Centre. Peters is a frequent contributor to Humber's Comedy: Writing and Performance program. Peters was granted the Honourary Degree by Humber in recognition of his passion and dedication to comedy and commitment to fostering young talent.

  • It's unfortunate this was cut. He went on longer than that and had some pretty good jokes.

  • Some of my maternal cousins up in Mississauga actually had the pleasure of seeing him perform stand up when he was there in his early days.
