As director of the Lab of Nanomedicine and Biomaterials of Brigham and Womens Hospital, he will soon lead a clinical trial to investigate whether nanoparticle chemotherapy can be safer and more effective than conventional chemotherapies.
In this brief interview, Dr. Farokhzad discusses the promise of nanotechnology in medicine, and how it could benefit cancer patients.
Dr. Farokhzad will be one of several distinguished speakers at the MMS Annual Meetings Annual Education Session on May 15, 2010.
