I lost my CD is there anywhere I can download the software for the modem?

@AcousticRequests Are you looking for software for a modem or a router. This is a router and if you are looking to set it up you just need to type in the local ip to access the web interface 192.168.0.1

@bwonedotcom yeah I have this router, the exact one. and when I type in the IP address, it can't be found. it just won't come up. do I have to have the CD that came with this or is there a way around it? I have NO idea how to set this up, could you give me some in detail steps? any help would be greatly appreciated.

@AcousticRequests I would recommend going to the D Link forums to get some details help as they have great info there!. You may need to just do a hard reset to your router. Grab a pin and hold down the reset button on the back of the router. It should reset after 10 seconds.

my friend says this router never lags.But then he called me the day I was going to get it he has be been lagging up alot so he sold fit and got time warner cable router.

I have this router ... it sucks really bad it says it does dual band but it really doesn't do dual band at the same time. Second thing my ps3 connection test does not recognize my 101mbps/15mbps ISP service it recognizes as 9mbps and 2-3 mbps upload which is bulllll. Sshiiit. I'm getting a netgear 900

@Quardian91 If you have a router that is giving you issues with Xbox Live, then yeah buying a new router may help, but a router will not improve your internet connection (meaning it wont increase the speed or anything)..

hey im using my router right now from at&t ( 2 wire 348 ). If i get this router will it affect the at&t server? and can u use this router just for yourself ( Laptop and xbox) and have 2 routers in your home running at the same time?

2 funny , oh it doesn't do both 2.4 and 5.8 at the same time , It's a gaming router not designed for all things , yes the dir825 is blazing fast ect ,but this router is only 4 gaming priority , this is why it does not do multiple bands ? Signals at the same time !!!!!
