never dive with a watch unless it is a GOOD diving watch.
i don't concider my watch to be water proof, regardless the claims.
i consider it to be safe for rain unless i stand in it for hours.

DON'T EVER trust watch company's water resistance recommendations unless your watch is brand new or you take it into a professional watch maker for battery change and/or service. rubber seals contract and expand with change in temperature. and they get brittle and crack over time.

@Mikenopolis it was new but it was still a lie. when we cracked the thing open there was not even a seal around the crown.

@pagani20 the seal falls off so easily when battery is changed thats all, how much did you pay fo this, in the UK they have all sold out cause they were 29.99, and that watch is either 50 meter or 100 meters if it says 5atm on the back it's 50 meters if its 10atm it's 100 meters. but we always say to never swim!! if they did not say this then i say sorry on their behalf! yes i wok in fossil :-)

nice watch

@rbechard thanks dude it was a nice watch. if you get one don't listen to what they say about the water resistance. it claimed it was waterproof to 165 ft. i took it swimming and the case got a little bit of water in it and it ruined the movement. it was still an awesome watch when it worked.
