  • Just found this and glad I did! I saw Moke open for King's X in Connecticut (02-03?) To say I was completely blown away is an absolute understatement! I have been around quite a while and have seen tons of bands, but this was one of those paramount events. I was severely bummed to find out these guys broke up. I have the second CD in my car's CD player as we speak and I can't tell you how many people I have turned on to Moke! Glad for the unforgettable experience nonetheless!

  • @scalenguy05 Hello, thanks ! You may be interested to know, we just did our first re-union show in Croydon, South London at a place called Scream, a few weeks back, there is some footage on youtube somewhere...we're doing another show in a few weeks and will hopefully start work on another album in the new year....cheers !

  • Isn't the actual name of this song "Mislaid The Key" from Moke's first album? Regardless I have to agree with other commentors. Saw this band open for King's X in Houston Texas and they simply blew me away. Purchased both Moke albums the next day and I still listen to them at least once every couple of weeks. The music is as fresh today as it was back then. It's a shame they split but it would be great to see them play live again....maybe some new material would materialize???

  • @Blitzman46 Thanks for the support , we now have a reunion gig booked for September in South London, and are starting to bounce ideas around for new songs. Hopefully we'll make it back to the States too. cheers ! jm

  • @johnnysenser Hey Johnny! Superb news! And what timing! I am so glad to hear this because you guys have a serious chemistry. Of course I am gritting my teeth a tad bit being across the pond, but the fact you guys are back in action is satisfying for now. I subscribed to your channel to keep up with whatever details. And I will definitely get the word out because I wouldn't want any of my friends (and I have a good many friends all over the map) to miss out! Cheers mate! ....good news indeed!

  • @Blitzman46 I've heard there's a new band callrd Moke and they brooke up when "Carnival wouldn't sell". LIFE SUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @johnnysenser the band I was in opened for you guys in a small bar in South Carolina. The local radio station called us and asked if we could play that night and we said sure why not.. boy am I glad they did. I STILL listen to the cd's and that was about 10-11 years ago? We also partied in your "bus" after the gig.... anyway good times and I hope more comes from the reunion gig. Good luck and make the music matter most!

  • What a great band. I listen to both albums frequently. A new album would be fantastic.

  • @johnnysenser I gather your one of the band members you guys were bad motherfuckers maybe you should of leaned just a bit more towards heavy metal for a wider fan base like KingsX did, but I really enjoyed your guys music would like to see you guys get back together, I'll write a grammy winning record for you guys when you do !

  • @johnnysenser That would be awesome. Those 2 Cds are fantastic - top rated in my book!
