  • At the risk of sounding like a hipster, The original version of this track was/is so much more amazing than the poppy version that showed up on the album. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this version. I don't think there is another song out there that is as raw and beautiful as this. I heart you, Ray! <3333

  • Not a dry panty in that place

  • @LAPNOT Thank you, but no need. I think a lot of us are interested in what he has to say.

  • I've been trying to learn this version for close to two months and have gotten nowhere :(

  • 1:07 . . .

  • @cassawcreative I agree! me and my fiance are getting married next year and this is going to be our first dance, well the album version!

  • It's such a shame that this song carries a negative tone for Ray. This is the song that brought my now fiancee and I together. The first time I heard it I emailed her the lyrics and told her this is exactly how I felt and our wedding is in 90 days. Ray is a HUGE part of our relationship.

  • This version is so much better

  • Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this video! I have been looking for a good recording of this. I saw him front row in Birmingham, AL and when he did this version of this song, it brought tears to my eyes. SO much better than the album version!

  • He's wearing a cowboy hat, I'm thinking George Strait! you just got to be flexible man, bending a lot.
