Conrad Oberg (14yrs.)....Not So Classical Gas!!

Conrad Oberg was born three and a half months prematurely in the Summer of 1994. Weighing only one and a half pounds at birth, Conrad was left with no eyesight in his left eye and only 15% of the vision in his right. At age two, Conrad taught himself to play the piano, and again taught himself the guitar at age ten. Conrad has been performing solo live performances since he was four years-old, and has been fortunate enough to meet and/or perform with some of the greats of the entertainment industry. Conrad has been performing with his own band for the past three years, playing his own brand of blues,roots, and rock music. Conrad, How many hours a day do you play music?

On non-school days Conrad averages about 10 hours a day on piano or guitar. School days playing depends on homework. He'd like to play more but we insist that he eats and sleeps occasionally!

Conrad hasn't played with Tommy, but we were lucky enough to go to one of his concerts recently!

Conrad's guitar is a Martin D35 that he bought a couple of years ago. It's one of his favorite acoustic guitars. He saved up his money for one because Rory Gallagher had a D35 also!
