Great performance. I met Rudhyar in S.F. years ago, talked to him after a Kronos Quartet performance. I've always liked his work, and of course, he was a brilliant thinking man as well.

Ahh a vast ensamble of intiquity , philosophical -illustrious, illuminous darkness. Passifistic on the 17th Century 's end don't ya think? Today's music should sound alot Darker yet more melodic and faster paced.

Thank you for posting this. Dane Rudhyar was one of the great composers of the 20th century yet remains among the least-recognized. While others were chasing after Arnold Schoenberg, Alban Berg and Igor Stravinsky, Dane Rudhyar went his own way. In a sense, what Alixsandr Scriabin had begun, Rudhyar took several dimensions further. Bravo!
