road trip Joplin Missouri to Alma Arkansas

The scenery from Joplin Missouri to Alma Arkansas was nothing like what I expected. Actually I didn't even have expectations, it was one of those things that I never thought about. What a pity.
The interstate is in great shape and the miles just rolled by, the hilly landscape, small communities, golf courses and the constant lush green scenery was mesmerizing. Imagine the colors here when the leaves change or the rare times when it snows...but that just shows the 4 season nature of this fascinating and beautiful part of the US...
