New Zealand- Shotover Jet ride

One of the greatest authentic thrills you will experience on the south island, if you have the guts to do it! The ride by fast jet powered speedboat whizzes inches past rocks in the narrow fast flowing river and will scare the daylight out of all. Truly amazing how the ride does not end up on the rocks, but be assured the guys in charge know what they are doing. By the way this is the same river, where just a few hundred yards further up, are the rapids , tunnels and all kinds of frothy white water for the best rafting.. so you can do both on the same day!
