I can't remember the exact set of events but one of friends who is also one of Ty's old high school buddies (Glenn) told me that Ty and Glenn used to have a hand signal for everytime they saw a student named Mickey Roy walk near them....or something of that nature.
I don't remember exactly why they came up with the hand signal or why they only did it near Mickey but I know Ty uses it in a lot of photos. Anytime I meet Ty I make sure I give him a Mickey Roy from Glenn.

Can someone fill me in on the "mickey roy"?
This is so cool! They seem like such lovely, down to earth people. I'm from the UK and only discovered King's X a couple years ago, they've quickly become my favourite band ever, but i've never seen them live :( Would happily fly over to anywhere in the US to see them for a night. The best trio ever!

@Bennyboy138 - They are fantastic guys. I have had the chance to meet them several times since 1991 and am amazed at how down to earth they are each time. They are easily my favorite band. Hopefully you will get to see them live someday. They are incredible!. I would go and find the latest live DVD as it was recorded in London.

@SeanFlaharty My best friend over here went to the London show and has the DVD so i've chilled with him and watched it a few times, its amazing!!! My favourite part is that section at the end of 'We Were Born To Be Loved' when they mess around with time signatures.....so cool! Its sad that we live in a musical world where Katy Perry is millions of people's hero, when 15 Album King's X have been underrated, and under looked for all these years, and are the essence of what music is and should be

@Bennyboy138 - I really love that DVD. The added commentary track is great to listen to as well. Ahh yes. I love "We Were Born". That was one of the first King's X songs I learned on guitar. It really was the first song to teach me crazy timing as the end if pretty frantic. As far as King's X not being as popular as people like Katy Perry....I am actually pretty glad as a lot of pop artist seem to fade off very quickly. King's X has stood the test of time.
