Lourdes 2011

Having the chance to go there was good enough but twice in one year was amazing. helping the sick and seeing people from world wide to come to a tiny village is incredible. In this you'll see the grotto. Bernadette (the young girl who saw our lady 18 times at the grotto or cave) her parents and her foster mother who was from Bartres just out of Lourdes. Bernadette lived there as a farm hand from 2-12. After the apparitions Bernadette was not believed and became upset but the whole world was in shock. After Bernadette died in her early thirties in a nuns convent in nevers the vatican did declare it was true. Bernadette after 100 years was made a saint and her incorrupt body lays in nevers just as she looked when she died. This is just a little insight go find out more! Its amazing!
