To that I fully Agree!

Protesting government is good, it's one of our fundamental rights included in the Bill of Rights.
Why don't you see it happening here??

You are misinformed. Consult a World Almanac and book of facts. Our murder rates exceed by drastic proportions anything that goes anywhere in the world, except in war zones. Why isn't aren't we excercising that right?

I've often heard that we are a nation of laws. Will anyone prove it or will we just keep mouthing the words while we do something else?

Hang em. This is really a shame - a real live shame that Obama didn't just get on this first thing. I do believe that this is one of the worst things that our nation has done. This is not a democracy - not a republic either - it is just one evil empire. I honestly beleive the USA contains the most dangerous humans on earth - and most of them we've elected.
Unless Obama is afraid of them! The only thing these people are afraid of is the American people rising up and holding them accountable. We are the most armed violent people on the planet, and if people would only wake up to what Cheney and Bush have done, their asses would be toast by now. But Obama and his whole administration is hmming and hawwning while the senseless wars based on complete lies and BS continues costing us trillions in the midst of a depression.

Unfortunately I have to disagree. We are one of the meekest people on the planet. Look at government protests in Europe! Things burn and heads are broken all the time. This is more typical around the world.

We have the highest percentage of our people in prison of any country in the world 2.5 million people. We have 6% of the worlds population but 25% of the worlds prison population. Only 1st world country that has the death penalty and 3rd trimester abortions for any reason ,war based on lies, no clear goals or reasons, kill 1 mil innocent people including children and women and then torture people and not be held accountable.

You have a point about violence. Individually we can be very violent. You seem to be referring to a violence that would intimidate government and on that account, I stand by my earlier statement.
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
