from www.onesquaremile.tv ---------- Teaser trailer for the upcoming documentary short One Square Mile. Through the voices of the community, the documentary shows the square mile neighborhood of Lake Como in the heart of Fort Worth, TX. This will be the first in a series of films which examine the United States through the microcosm of square miles across the country.
Our family lives four miles from Como and is so very sad to see such poverty and decline. But virtually block away, there is lots of wealth in neighborhoods like Crestwood, Monticello, Ridglea and more, with homes priced from $350K up past a million. There is a huge sense of togetherness and community there and everyone knows one another and watches out for each other.
