This system assumes that the MACD dictates the price movement - this is crap - the price movement shapes the movement of MACD - not the other way around - so CANNOT predict price movement from MACD movement

I prefer the 20 and 50 EMA crossover system over this one.I use the one hour chart,a lot of opportunities.I also use VT Trader.They have nice automatic trading system.

Your trade signals are set at the point when the macd converges. In reality you would have to wait to see if they actually cross (rather than touch). At that point you would only be able to trade the next bars opening price (at the earliest). This would give you worse results than the chart is impling.
