Kids have lots of fun with the Atlantic Coast S Gaugers ACSG Super 8 Layout

The Atlantic Coast S Gaugers (ACSG) set up the Super 8 layout at the Santa Train Show at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC during December 2011. The layout features three American Flyer trains running almost continuously along the figure 8 track. There is also a reversing handcar that runs on another, separate, track. Kids push the buttons to operate the accessories, like the whistle, the crossing warning signals, the tree swing, and others. Kids of all shapes, sizes, and ages like to watch the trains in motion and push the buttons to see which accessory operates. It is interesting to watch the expressions on the kids faces as the trains stop and start automatically.
