Biography from Dominique Jacquinet
Born in June 1984 The Hague, The Netherlands. His passion for music starts at early age. He listens to a broad range of music thought by his father, and while getting older he started listening to house music.
2006
Inspired by drum&bass since he visit his first drum&bass party in a local venue in The Hague called Paard van Troje. He was totally addicted to the deep rollin bass lines from the d&b scene. In 2006 Dominique starts producing drum&bass together with a friend under the name: Liquid Identity. They produced a couple of tracks, but without any releases, "Liquid Identity" ceased to exist by the end of the year.
2007
Dominique got in touch with deep, dub-techno which will result in a collab between him and his good friend Rik aka Rivo. The track "Reinforced Dubs" was born. After lots of positive feedback from many artists over the globe, Dominique decided to go on with these deep dubby techno sounds.
2008
After releasing the Floating Ep on This Side Music and a track for Depth Perception vol.1 cd by Pronounce his music is picked up by several DJ´s, (net)labels, podcasts and even a radio station, with the result his tracks are featured in DJ mixes on Mixotic , Deep in Dub, Still Audio podcast and a radio play on XFM Dublin.
Dominique gets also involved in a project called Hidden Events that try's to bring the deeper and dubby techno sounds under the attention of the people with bringing party's to different locations in The Netherlands.
He also starts a new project called DX-24 inspired by the breaks from the drum&bass scene and the deep atmospheric sounds from the dub-techno scene.
2009
Dominique was flying below the radar to finish his course at the School of Audio Engineering in Rotterdam.
2010
Dominique kicks off as founder of "Sound Source Netlabel". Sound Source Netlabel brings you the deepest sounds and relaxing ambient soundscapes to float away

The story behind Sound Source Netlabel
Dominique Jacquinet founder of SSN started producing some years ago. His work was released on a number of netlabels and commercial labels aswell. Together with Demy Ottens and Rik de Voogd they start Hidden Events. A number of party's followed in Bootleg DJ Cafe Rotterdam. The whole idea was to share deep and dubby and mostly undiscovered music to the public. They also combined different styles in one night to attract all kinds of people and give them something to please their ears.
In 2009 Dominique started his course at SAE Institute Rotterdam. With all this knowlegde in mind its time for a new challenge so Dominique founded Sound Source Netlabel in 2010.
In 2011 Sound Source Netlabel released its first Various Artists compilation "Various Depths". This was an icing on the cake.... 17 artists joined this compilation and the result is stunning!
