@AluminumFoilHatMan Continued. DC made comics back before the law was clear on who owned what regarding intellectual property and work for hire laws. Plenty of creators died penniless. Their characters continue to be, in some cases, cash cows. I'm not in favor of bankrupting the shrinking comics industry to make a few trust fund babies, but It's not right how DC has not paid for the other's creativity they continue to benefit from.
@AluminumFoilHatMan Continued. As for Siegel's estate seeking to make sure that his heirs get every penny they are entitled to, I wouldn't mind getting a check for a chunk of Smallville, The Legion of Superheroes, the old Superboy live action series from the 1980s, etc.
@AluminumFoilHatMan I know your earlier post is a couple of years old, but I wanted to correct a few things. Superboy Prime has all of the powers of the original Superboy, but he came from an alternate universe. Technically, Superboy was killed off after Crisis and Superman was revamped so as to appear as Superman sans a super teen career.
I'll tell you what's going on... The greedy, cheap bastards of Warner-DC have decided to completely discredit and annihilate the "Superboy" character by making him an evil psychopath named "Superman Prime". Why? Well, so they can avoid having to ever pay the family of THE VERY CREATOR OF SUPERMAN HIMSELF another fucking penny. Down with DC.
