  • Wonderful tribute to a wonderful actor and beautiful man. Thank you for making this video.

  • @irinagarbo Thank you so much! I appreciate your comment. Monty was one of a kind!

  • I'll bet I've watched this video 50 times in the past year.....and it's high time I complimented you on your SUPERB compilation and finding absolutely the PERFECT song to accompany it.

There will never be another man like Monty. The tragedy in his life was immense, but it's greatly outweighed by the joy & beauty of his enduring legacy.....even if Monty himself never, ever saw it that way. Rest in peace, dear Mr. Clift....

One of my favorite videos on YouTube. Thanks so much for it!!!

  • @DrVonChilla Sorry for the late reply, but your comment made my day! Thank you so so so much!!!

  • The first clip - what movie is it from?

  • @deanna67 The first scene where he is waking up, is from I Confess, an Alfred Hitchcock film.

  • The most beautiful man to ever grace the screen. The only one who comes close these days is Matt Bomer- well, I'd love Matt to play Monty actually.

  • @Lordismyportion

    Yes, he was simply wonderful.

  • Yowza! He was a gorgeous man.

  • a very good reason for me to die, then I can see Monty in heaven

  • Oh, yeah.....one more thing.....WHEN will we get the DVD release of "The Search"?!?!? We can purchase every modern travesty of film but no DVD of this classic?!?!?

I've just about worn out my VHS copy.....
