A talented team of 'opposite rotating' skaters, Tiffany and Scott would eventually win the US National title in 2003, plus many other silver and bronze medals. I found their programs distracting, by their unusual and inconsistant choice of rotation direction. Some lifts were to the right, some to the left, spins and jumps combined in varied patterns. Perhaps a great choreographer could have made use to such skill, but it seemed more often to lead to mis-steps and spills. I just could never relax watching this pair.

  • i disagree, I liked their skating and music choice

  • Yes, this was one of their better performances. It is interesting and well done. Perhaps you read more into my criticism, than was intended. I didn't mean to disparage them. I just had to hold my breath when they skated.......best wishes

  • I do see what you refer to, for example, on that missed triple salchow, the exit where they face different directions and rotate looks very sloppy. When they hit that move, like they did in worlds, the angle and exit and the contrast looked really nice. All those nuances look good when they skate clean, but very amateur and unpolished when they make errors.
