I believe that Ernie Ladd might have been referring to Peter Maivia (RIP) as the drunken indian during this promo. Peter Maivia of course was "The Rock's" grandfather. He died of cancer in 1982.

LMAO at this promo. Ernie Ladd was definitely one of the greatest heels of all time. His promos were intimidating, but at the same time funny as hell. OMG this promo is hilarious.

Ernie Ladd was one of the great heels of all-time. I don't think a lot of wrestling fans today know about him because he kinda came before the whole wrestling explosion in the early 1980's. He was a great heel and a big draw in many different territories for years. As you can see from this promo, he was a true badass who could stir up any crowd. Just great stuff. A true original. RIP Big Cat.

"I know he's back there full of wiskey." Lol!!! Ernie Ladd was just great. "I'm going to send Tony Atlas back to Africa." They don't make them like Ladd anymore. I am cracking up as I type this stuff. RIP Big Cat.
