Furious Shiba Inu aggressively protects something precious to her. Behaviour is triggered when a person gets so close that the she feels she is in danger of losing this valuable resource. This was really dangerous take, I was lucky enough to keep my fingers!

  • @frowniebrown86 Ya I had the same problem with my shiba inu when I first got him. Now I can take his food away whenever I want and he even drags me to other dogs he doesn't know to play with them. The only thing he hasn't gotten good at his handling bones or other large treats. He still will go hide them and I will find him hours later growling and drooling over it all deranged like in the corner of my apartment. My solution was not to give him anymore treats like that

  • ya shibas definately can go too far with this instinct. our's was attacked by two other dogs a few years back, and after that incident he was not the same...extremely aggressive to new dogs. So we are currently seeing a behavioral trainer and we learned that ALL resources must be controlled by the humans so the shiba feels secure. Water, food, free time. One really easy example is put the food bowl down and if they don't eat it right then they miss that meal.
