Our girl lived to be 18, with no real health issues and a pup to the very end, we were so lucky ,but it still wasnt long enough. She single handedly turned me into the biggest lover of boxers ever, and Ive never met one I didnt like, even though some of them can be a pain, ya still gotta love em

Are mixes more prone to health problems? My boxer/lab mix that I got 5 years ago from the shelter as a pup is really starting to suffer from joint problems.. i think displasia. It hurts to see him in so much pain but the vet said a lot of other dogs go through the same thing and there is nothing to do outside of surgery and that doesn't always work either :(

You cannot justify one wrong by using another as an example. There are people working towards stopping foreskin removal in infants, just as there are people working towards the mutilation of animals for their owner's pleasure.

@janpalmernov3 Do human baby boys prefer or have a say; when shortly after birth; they are separated from mother; strapped to a wooden board; and their sexual organ is mutilated; for what amounts to nothing more than a glorified religious ceremony?

@LOKISlog7 do you have a boxer?if yes ,did you watch the surgery of cropping and docking?if you watch it you suicide believe me its an awkward and awful moment.....even after the crop or dock the dog doesnt feel happy...

Boxers are born with floppy ears and they look best like that. THEY sure don't prefer to have their ears cropped. Stupid human beings.
"They're not overly rambunctious in the house" << LIES!

@Lazaros20ify Yes; I have owned 1 Boxer and 6 Dobermans. All were responsibly Cropped and Docked; all lived happy, healthy lives without the need for any sort of Physiological therapy to deal the procedure. I have been present for every on of our Cropping procedures- the same competent and skilled veterinarian was on hand for all our dogs surgeries; and we have great faith in his professionalism. After 1 day of recovery; all our K9s were happy being and doing normal K9 things. Have a nice day
