I loved this LP.The Musicians are real good on it. I played it a lot when it came out. As for the critics back then,WHO CARED.

hey george harrison fans i have the vinyl version of the song and probably the only with it here on youtube enjoy!
-
I'll never know why he didn't push the recording sessions until he was all better.
-
@grevejp44 I agree. It gives it that gritty feel that makes the song great.
-
@RayNDeere I think the laryngitis helps on this track, it makes his voice more raspy.
-
@mrsnruB you mean the guy who formed the Band one of George's good friends. You need to study.
-
@RayNDeere i had heard about that, but i didn't expect him to sound quite like this... the first time i heard "dark horse" i was riding in the car w/ my dad when he said, "wait a minute- yeah, this IS..." "what?" "this is george harrison!" "what?" "listen" when i heard the words "dark horse" in the refrain, i immediately knew it was him. i'm not saying my comment to make fun of him or anything jsyk. i was just surprised the first time i heard it

George was suffering from laryngitis during the recording of Dark Horse, then had to go out on the ensuring "Dark Horse" tour without much relief. The tour was kiddingly called "Dark Hoarse" and was given a lot of negative reviews. I believe it was the last time George toured in the US.
