Infant baptism(sprinkling) is a promise (dedication)from the parents to keep the child in the lords service until the child themself are saved. Infant baptism is not for the child, it is a public promise made by the parents in front of GOD and the CHURCH.
Romans 6:3-4. When we're buried with Christ in baptism, we're put into contact with His blood, and raised up as a new man. The baptism conducted by the Baptist minister for the Campbells was probably sufficient because they believed it was for salvation. Baptism for salvation wasn't instituted until after Jesus' resurrection in the Great Commission. Paul did not baptize himself, but others did. Philippian jailer was baptized. By whom? Based on 1 Cor, probably Silas.
GOD made his GRACE to TRUMP EVERYTHING ELSE. The condemnation verses are true always, BUT overruled in the believers life when confronted by GRACE. Romans 5:20-21 Romans 11:6
For example their is Dan Corner who has quoted 1Cor 6:9-10 a million times, BUT NEVER quotes VSs 11 & 12...? how convenient to make his point, until Grace comes along behind him. !
@fwfassett i agree with you completely; baptism symbolises the burial of the old nature which has been ''crucfied with christ'' Rom chap. 6 vs6. hence we can live the ''new life'' spoken of in vs 4(niv).......hope that makes sense
@longtalltexan63 "Infant baptism is also false doctrine"

If you have Faith in Jesus than you believe in Jesus.
If you believe in Jesus than you will fallow his teachings.
If you fallow his teachings than you will be baptize.
If you get baptize than you believe in Jesus.
if you believe in Jesus than you have Faith.
