I have one of these I bought out of a field to part for my singer gazelle DHC. I keep wanting to restore the Humber, however I seem to have promised my significant other that I would get rid of cars not restore more.
I wanted a MK1 Sceptre since I was 14 years old. I finally drove one that was for sale when I was 21. The suspension was tired etc and I thought "No, this ain't for me". I still like them and your one is especially cool.

Great information!
The Hillman Minx was also built in Australia.
Later when Rootes became part of Chrysler, the Hillman Hunter was also built in Australia
