Finnish express train 707 passes first Pieksämäki-Kuopio line-blocking signal on Pieksämäki. Line blocking is used with these old type triangle signals on Pieksämäki-Kuopio, Kuopio-Iisalmi and Kokkola-Oulu lines. Old type 3-aspect triangle signal is used also on Helsinki-Pasila, Kouvola-Lahti-lines and it was used on Kouvola-Parikkala, Kouvola-Mikkeli-Pieksämäki-lines. Kouvola-Mikkeli-Pieksämäki was first line in Finland to use relay-CTC-system. There were two controlling centres, Pieksämäki-Mikkeli was controlled from Pieksämäki and Mikkeli-Kouvola was controlled from Kouvola. Pieksämäki-Kuopio-Iisalmi is controlled from Pieksämäki with Ericsson-relay CTC which is replaced on few years with computer remote control. I do not know if old line blocking signals stay or are they replaced with new type signals (main signal+presignal) when CTC is replaced.
