This is the first half of the video. See video 2. GoPro camera mounted on the top of helmet capturing my second sled ride with my brand new Falcon 3 170 and Z5 harness at The Florida Ridge Airpark.
It was a little breezy but smooth up there though.
The glider flies like a dream... On the ground the static balance is excellent and while flying pitch and roll are totally mindless with light bar pressure within all speed range. Despite the breezy condition, with wind possibly topping 20mph, the glider has good penetration with enough punch to get me moving upwind...
Z5 is very confortable and assuring, however I need to get used to the zipper system... still struggling to get it closed all the way up. It seems to be a little tight...
I`ve been 3 months without flying behind a Tug plane. Too long... so I got to thank Steve for the smooth ride up 2000'..., he made me look like I knew what I was doing ;-)
I also want to especially thank James and Marco for the time spent with me explaining the new equipment and getting the glider and harness rigged and ready to go.
