i hooked it up to an amp once and it didnt sound great but that is because i didnt set the amp up, if you take time to set it up it should do.

With the headphones on it sounds great, it depends what speakers/amp your using i was using a t.v (an old one), also I was recording the video with a webcam.

if you have an amp with a speaker extension jack like mine you can hook it up tp any speaker with a subwoofer(like a pa speaker) in it and it will sound great but if your playing on a regular 2 channel amp turn all of the eq's up to the highest setting and cut out all of the gain and it should sound just fine.
