The Mediocrity Police

SYNOPSIS:
Extraterrestrial taste police travel to the planet earth to perform a very particular and specific kind of clean-up operation.

This was my very first fully executed attempt at an animated short, made back in 2008 for my A-level Media Studies course in high school*. It was a bit of an arduous task to construct the film, taking about 5 or 6 months to complete, but the important thing is that a lot was learned in the process! Dark humoured in nature. Cynical sods should enjoy.
(Not intended to offend, just poke fun!)
*(In retrospect, the whole thing shamelessly wears the influence of Monkey Dust on its sleeve, but hey, that's what you do when you're young innit!)
Special thanks has to go out to my media studies teacher at the time, Andy Williams who was extremely encouraging, supportive and helpful during the entire process of the making of this animation. Thank you sir!

Funny that you should mention monkey dust when I think the characters you most evoke are the pretentious wankers.

Now I'm no fan of Coldplay but I can't stand the type of folk who think they're better than everyone else just because they listen to music they consider better.

@deandurbin Hi there, excuse my late reply, I've only just logged into this account in the first time for about 2 years. To be honest I think the reason most people have a beef with bands like Coldplay is maybe due to the lack of imagination on display and perhaps the slightly mediocre, uniformly drab middle class nature of their music. That's why I felt I wanted to poke fun at the them anyway. When I was 18.
