"Gun Control Slapdown" By Nutnfancy

The political fight to keep the gun banners at bay will never end. Expect an ongoing political fight and we need every patriot to step up and be counted. The days of the silent majority are over. You should engage your Congressmen and women via constant letters and emails voicing your durable opposition against such onerous gun law proposals like HR 45 (discussed). Such a law, and ones that will no doubt follow, seek to create mandatory gun owner licensing, fingerprinting, medical record perusal, prohibition of firearms instruction to children, and numerous other damaging restrictions a reality in the US. Enforcement would create millions of felons in the US for those who take a principled resistance (recommended) to such insane attempts at public policy. The stakes are extremely high and the repercussions of any further gun restrictions, licensing, new database creation, and harassment of gun owners in the USA could be serious and far reaching. Gun control measures have never improved societal safety and there are numerous case studies that prove these dismal failures. However the improvement of public safety has never been the aim of these gun banners and they will never be satiated with the latest gun (or knife) law that further restricts your right to self-defense. Nope, they will keep pressing on towards EVERY type of firearm and then it will bleed over to knives and every other type of "destructive" device. Nope, it has nothing to do with public safety. But it has everything to do with people control and preservation of their power structure. They seek to establish and maintain total subjugation...yes right here in the United States of America. The pen is powerful. It can change minds. It can defend freedom. Now is the time to use it. Get busy. -Nutnfancy

What they are trying to do in the states is the same thing that Puerto Rico has. In order for you to have a firearm you have to have a license and there cant be any private sales. Everything has to be through an armory and every firearm has to be registered. If not it is ilegal and could be prosecuted for it. Keep up the great work with TNP

@rednight666666 There is a permitting process, but almost impossible to get one. Mexico is a good reason to have firearms in the hands of citizens, right now the Mexicans have no way to defend themselves against the criminals. Look how gun control is working there!

The old saying goes, "I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees." While I would agree with that statement, that is not the decision you have to make. The decision that you have is to live on your feet or die on your knees. Populations that have given into gun control arguments have ended up dying on their knees, Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, Maoist China, Khmer Rouge Cambodia, on and on. Being armed on your feet is the only way to ensure your safety.
