Seervawij (Fried Green Garlic with Duck Eggs); food from Foshtom (Gilan)

Seervawij is fried green garlic with duck eggs. My grandmother used to make this for me. It is a typical Gilaki food. I love it! In Toronto you can find duck eggs in the China Town or Yummy Market. The green garlic can be found in these places as well. I harvested the garlic from my backyard. I planted some garlic from Rasht and they grew beautifully here in Toronto.
