2008 GI Joe Film Festival Award winner in the "Best Vintage Film" category. Originally produced in 1973 and shot on super 8mm motion picture film by filmaker/animator Carl Piermarini. Assisted by Jack Celli, Peter CampoBasso and Greg Carchidi, this film was shot on a pool table in Carl's basement to keep the set and GI Joes solid while animating. Effects were all done in camera on the set...including explosions using firecrackers left over from the Fourth of July. The GI Joe with lifelike hair later went on to appear in "Magnum Farce" and "Mission Imbecile."

Excellent! I love it! I just love how you did the whole story and the feeling of realism when I watched the Joes in action doing things from the morris code to the fight scene, keep up the good work. G Whaley
