The demo version of the 2008 game Race Driver: GRID running on ASUS N10J-A1 (netbook / notebook / ultraportable ... whatever you wish to call it my friend). Machine is on AC and running 1760.1Mhz; the Turbo mode of ASUS P4G hybrid engine.

I don't expect a very smooth gameplay here as the minimum CPU requirements of the game is Pentium 4 @ 3.0GHz or Athlon 64 3000+.

I recorded this using a Sony DSC-S85 digital camera. Original video is 320x240 pixels @ 25 frames per second so pardon if you see a lot of annoying woozy movements or vertiginous frames in the YouTube-processed video.

ASUS N10J-A1 specs

For a 10-inch, Atom-powered machine, it is quite a consolation that it doesn't run the demo game like a very slow Powerpoint slide show.

  • bro mas bibilis pa yan kung sasalpakan mo ng 8gb na sandisk ultra II SD card at gamitin mo as readyboost. nice vid btw bro.

  • i agree, seriously low memory speed on gddr2 really slow down the AA alot. I think he is better off with 2AA and put texture to maximum which shouldn't effect the performance much

  • Multisampling 8 times?

    Like AA 8x?

turn that off and you might get a playable speed
