JVC GZ-MS100 test and conversion of .MOD file

short clip of how i managed, with help, to convert those crap .MOD files to .wmv and was able to use video clips on PC and windows movie maker.PLEASE NOTE I MADE THIS DURING MY LUNCH BREAK ON A COMPUTER USING VISTA BUSINESS AND THE PRISM CONVERTER SOFTWARE IS A FREE VERSION SO NOT SURE IF IT HAS A LIMIT ON VIDEOS.IT IS JUST TO SHOW IT CAN BE DONE AND YOU DONT HAVE TO JUST SIT AND WATCH USING THE SUPPLIED SOFTWARE.

YEP, Thats how i made this one, use the prisim converter first then wmm will be ok to use.

movie maker accepts the files...but the top of the frame smears...and the longer the video, teh more smearing there is in the video

Ok, Now you know there is something wrong with your computer, that a start, try to reinstall your video and audio codec.

i dont know why, it doesn work on your computer. other then, the codec must be wrong, it work fine on mine. you need mpg2 codec for video streem ,ac3 codec for sound. i use virtualdub with mpg2 plug in or sony vegas.
